Site Abode policy
Site Abode is a managed hosting service operated from Kentucky, United States. Contact us at support@rob-hob.com. These Terms govern your Site Abode account, hosting Apps and related paid services. Our current supported App type is managed WordPress. The Privacy, Acceptable Use, Refunds and Cancellation, and Backups and Data policies explain the related rules and form part of these Terms. Nothing here removes consumer rights or other protections that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you act for another person or organization, you must have authority to do so. Give us accurate account and billing information, keep your contact email current, and protect your login and App credentials. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for securing the WordPress users, plugins, themes and integrations you choose.
Your content remains yours. You must have the rights and permissions needed to host it and to ask us to copy, back up, restore or otherwise process it. You authorize Site Abode and the providers needed to operate the service to process that content for those purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or give us permission to sell it. You remain responsible for your site's own terms, privacy notices, visitor data and compliance obligations.
The order and account screens describe the resources and services you select. Storage is limited to the purchased allocation. CPU and memory limits are per-App limits on shared hosting infrastructure, not a promise of dedicated processors, exclusive memory capacity or constant performance. Do not use the service in a way that disrupts other Apps or evades resource controls.
Domain registration, valid domain control and third-party licenses are your responsibility unless your order expressly includes them. DNS propagation, payment providers, networks and third-party software can affect availability. Managed hosting does not mean every plugin, customization or external service is supported or automatically repaired. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular response time or a service-level credit unless we expressly agree to it separately.
Prices and payments are in US dollars. Review the amount due now, recurring amount, selected resources and any scheduled changes before confirming. Site Abode currently has tax collection disabled; the checkout total is the amount we ask you to pay. If collection changes, applicable charges must be disclosed before the affected purchase or renewal. This statement does not determine your independent tax obligations.
For a new App paid by card, Site Abode may reserve selected account credit and obtain a card authorization before provisioning. A pending authorization can appear as a hold at your bank. On successful provisioning, the authorized amount is captured and reserved credit is applied; on terminal failure, the unused authorization and reservation are released. Your bank controls when a released hold disappears. Other purchases, renewals and resource changes follow the amounts and payment steps shown for that transaction.
Recurring services renew using the selected payment arrangement until canceled. You authorize the payments described when you confirm that arrangement. Keep the selected payment method or account funding sufficient. Failed payment can prevent provisioning, changes or renewal and can suspend service when paid coverage ends. We may retry or reconcile a failed payment through the agreed payment arrangement; we do not charge a second time for the same settled item.
Upgrades may require a payment now. Scheduled reductions take effect at the displayed boundary, subject to the App fitting within its new limits. Review both the current allocation and pending changes. Merely stopping an App or not using it does not cancel its subscription or erase charges already owed.
Site Abode credit is noncash, nontransferable credit for eligible Site Abode services, not a bank account or a general payment method. Promotional credit is subject to the offer that granted it. Our Refunds and Cancellation policy explains returns of eligible settled funds and proportional removal of associated promotions.
Canceling renewal keeps your App available through the end of its paid service period. If you do not renew, or payment fails and paid service ends, the App stops running. We retain its site files, database and associated backups for 90 days after paid service ends. After that date, those contents are scheduled for permanent deletion. Before permanent cleanup begins, you may pay for a new service period to restore the retained App, subject to other account or service restrictions. Export anything you need before the deletion date.
Cancellation does not automatically refund money or create credit. A failed-provisioning Cancel & Credit action is a separate remedy. Explicit App deletion stops the App immediately and follows its displayed deletion date. Create New permanently replaces the old contents and backups. These actions follow their separate warnings; do not use deletion to request ordinary end-of-period cancellation.
Use an account Support ticket for ordinary account, hosting and billing issues. Ticket emails notify you and link back to the portal; replying to an email does not automatically add a ticket reply. Monitor both your account and email. Report abuse, copyright concerns and security incidents to support@rob-hob.com. Do not send passwords, card details or private keys in tickets or email.
We may restrict or suspend an affected account or App when reasonably needed to address nonpayment, compromised access, prohibited use, a legal obligation or material harm to the service or others. When safe and practical, we will explain the issue and what is needed to resolve it. Urgent security or legal action may occur without advance notice. Suspension does not itself erase legitimate charges or guarantee that all data will remain recoverable forever. Contact support to contest an action or arrange an appropriate resolution.
Backups are recovery points for routine mistakes and changes. Maintain independent copies of critical content. Read Backups and Data before relying on a recovery point or performing a restore.
To the extent applicable law permits, the service is provided as available without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. To that same extent, Site Abode is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost business opportunities. These limits do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude, and do not override an express written commitment or mandatory refund right.
We publish a version and effective date when Terms change and explain material changes through the portal or account email. Paid actions require acceptance of the applicable Terms version, including purchases funded entirely by credit. A later version does not retroactively rewrite a completed transaction.
Please contact support@rob-hob.com first so we can try to resolve a disagreement. Kentucky law and applicable US federal law govern these Terms, except where mandatory protections of another jurisdiction apply. These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive rights to bring a claim or complaint that applicable law provides.
