Site Abode policy
Site Abode, operated from Kentucky, United States, uses information to provide and secure the Site Abode portal and Apps. Contact support@rob-hob.com with privacy questions or requests. This policy covers our account, service and operational processing. A customer's hosted website may collect its own visitor data under that customer's policies; ask that website operator about its collection.
- Account information: name, email, password hash, verification and session records, Terms acceptance version/time and account-security events.
- Billing information: customer and payment-provider references, orders, invoices, subscription and resource selections, credits, refunds, disputes and billing-location information used for payment and tax monitoring. Card details entered on Stripe's payment pages are handled by Stripe; Site Abode receives the references and transaction information needed to administer the purchase rather than storing full payment-card numbers or security codes.
- Hosting information: App/domain settings, supplied administration and DNS credentials, resource usage, operations and job results, and the website files, databases and backup contents you ask the service to host or process.
- Support information: ticket categories, messages, linked Apps, status history and email correspondence, including reports sent by people without accounts.
- Technical information: IP addresses, browser/user-agent details, requests, session cookies and operational/security logs generated while using or administering the service.
We use this information to create and secure accounts, authenticate requests, provide hosting and recovery operations, process and reconcile payments, answer support requests, send necessary service messages, investigate abuse, maintain reliability and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. Where consent is required for an additional use, we will request it. We do not sell personal information or use portal data for targeted advertising.
The portal uses cookies and related browser storage for sign-in, request security and interface operation. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent login or paid actions. We do not add advertising or optional analytics trackers as part of these policies. Stripe and any external site you choose to visit have their own notices for their services.
We work with third-party service providers for functions such as payment processing, hosting, networking, email delivery and customer communications. We share information with them as needed to provide, maintain and secure those services. Depending on their role and applicable law, providers may process information on our behalf or for their own payment, security or legal purposes under their privacy notices. For payment information handled by Stripe, see Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Authorized operators may access account information or hosted content when needed to provide support, execute requested operations, investigate incidents or comply with law. We may disclose relevant information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and service security. A valid abuse report may need to be shared with the affected account holder; do not include unrelated sensitive information in a report.
Information may be processed in the United States and other places where the selected providers operate. We do not promise that your data stays in a chosen country or region unless a specific service agreement expressly provides it.
We keep information for the service, support, security, dispute and legal purposes described above. The appropriate period depends on the record and those purposes. We do not promise one automatic deletion deadline for every category. Closing or deleting an App does not automatically erase invoices, payment history, support records or information we must keep for other reasons. Backups and operational recovery copies can persist until their retention cycle replaces them. See Backups and Data for App recovery and deletion limits.
We use access controls and technical safeguards to protect the service, but no network or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and secure your WordPress users and integrations. Never send payment-card secrets or private keys through support messages.
Email support@rob-hob.com to request access, correction, a copy or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a privacy concern. Tell us which account or interaction the request concerns without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Depending on the applicable law and our role, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision or complain to a regulator. We will explain any lawful limitation on a request; requesting deletion may require ending the services that need the information. Where we process a customer's hosted data on their instructions, we may refer the request to that customer or assist them in responding.
The service is intended for people able to enter a hosting agreement, not for children's independent accounts. Contact us if you believe a child has provided account information without appropriate authority. We will assess and address the report. Material changes to this policy will be identified by an updated version/effective date and communicated through the portal or account email.
