Site Abode policy
Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and preserves service through the paid period shown in your account, subject to the Terms. When paid service ends without renewal or successful payment, the App stops running. Its files, database and associated backups are retained for 90 days after paid service ends, then scheduled for permanent deletion. Export anything you need before that date. Cancellation does not create an automatic cash refund or Site Abode credit. Stopping an App, abandoning it or letting a payment method expire is not a substitute for cancellation.
If a new App fails before its authorized card payment is captured, Site Abode cancels the unused authorization and releases reserved Site Abode credit when the order reaches terminal failure. This releases a hold; it is not a refund of a settled charge. Bank processing can delay when the released hold disappears from your balance.
If eligible funds were already settled for an App that fails to provision, you may request return of eligible value to Site Abode credit or, after review, to the supported original payment source. Use the offered Cancel & Credit action or contact Support. Do not repeatedly create new paid orders to repair one failed order. A successfully provisioned App has no automatic refund entitlement, but Site Abode may approve a partial or full refund after reviewing the circumstances. Mandatory rights provided by applicable law still apply.
Site Abode credit is noncash, nontransferable service credit. A credit balance or promotional award is not automatically redeemable for cash. Approved returns of eligible top-up or service payments are reconciled to the original funding; associated promotional credit is removed proportionally. We do not return the same paid value twice or convert a promotion into cash.
Before permanent cleanup begins, you may pay for a new service period to restore an App retained after paid service ended, subject to other account or service restrictions. Review the charge and renewal choice before confirming. Retention does not provide free running service. Restarting renewal while your existing paid period still covers service does not require buying that period again.
Explicitly deleted Apps follow their separately displayed recovery deadline. Eligible Apps can use Restore for retained contents or Create New to replace those contents on the existing subscription. Neither action recovers contents or backups after permanent removal. If cleanup has already begun when payment completes, restoration cannot be promised; contact Support to resolve the payment.
Disputes and chargebacks are reconciled against the originating payment and related credit. Service may be suspended when valid paid coverage no longer exists. Contact support if a transaction is wrong; this request does not waive your rights to contact your payment provider or use a lawful dispute process.
Deleting a provisioned App stops service and renewal, retains its contents and backups until the displayed paid-through date, and schedules permanent removal. Related staging Apps are also stopped, each with its own paid-through date. Pending unpaid resource changes are canceled; purchased upgrades remain attached to the App. Create New instead permanently replaces the selected App's contents and backups. Neither action automatically grants a refund. Before confirming, export anything you need and review the displayed deletion date and affected Apps.
